If the years of 2005 and 2006 were a ride, then 2007 has been a rodeo! We are not going to retire from the Arabian Horse business! It is impossible.

After selling 11 of our band of mares and babies, and finding so many new friends and clients, I simply cannot give up my wonderful community of friends and the wonderful Egyptian Arabian horses that brings us together.

Coming back home to Montana is Absaroka Mist, the first born of Minstrils Mist by Shahir. Yes, she was sold and, yes, I just bought her back. The circle will now be complete when Absaroka comes home to the Bitterroot Valley where she was born on a snowy day in 1997. "Abbie" will be bred to Thee Desperado in the spring of 2008.

Our beautiful Mishaal HP daughter out of Minstrils Blessing is headed for the Show Barn at Arabians Ltd and will go the Egyptian Event in 2008.

We still live in the trees where the wild turkeys come to visit, the bears head for the McIntosh apple trees and the deer and elk look for the grasses after the first snows. The coyote and wolf sing for us on the cold winter nights and Tim and Maverick will watch out for Absoraka in their winter pasture. Abbie's new foals will head for Texas and Arabians Ltd. each January to show as yearlings!

The best of all worlds awaits us in the future........

Frankie and Senator Rick Laible

Minstrils Mist had a beautiful filly by Mishaal HP. Minstrils Rose had a beautiful Thee Desperado filly. Both fillies were foaled in May.

Congratulations to Lisa Abraham on her purchase of both of these fillies. lisa@lisaabrahamphotography.com
